I believe the Keenans are in a category of their own, but I have to say, they’re fully, “legit” LOL. Bob & Teresa Keenan love their family. Their leadership are one of laughters, passion, and love. There is never a dull moment. There are humors in randomness and can laugh during long road trip, embracing their kids with joy, truth and integrity. Emberly knows how to “tie knots” she’s 99% angel and 1% “watch out”. Autumn, she is just like her mom. Her beautiful quality is full of passion, and she got skillz on her camera. Josiah can get a long with anyone, and he loves “hugs” =). Faithlyn fits her name. She already has the quality of a Godly woman at her young age; a young woman of faith that can bring joy to the people around her. Overall, this family is a joy to be around. Their laughters are so contagious, and their faith exemplify this love journey to the God that we serve. Their path is the embrace of new territory, sometimes hardship, sometimes illusive change. But with this change, their faith remains the same to the One that never change, nor will ever forsake them. I really do love the Keenans, and will be praying for them.

Jennifer’s Babes

This is Jennifer and her babes. Aaron reminds me of a great friend that I truly loved and miss a whole lot. There is a trace of joy, calmness, and rambunctious in this kid. Audrey is like a mirror of Jen. Her blue eyes sparkles ever so gently. Her laugh is contagious, and often move us to laugh with her. All of this, is within an hour of meeting these two for the first time in a long time. The short time that I spent with them, the more that I learn that kids are genuine. They don’t hide their feelings. Their communication’s strong point is very straight forward. We know when they are hungry, tired, and loved. There is no games that they play, not yet anyway. At this time, truth is what we get. Why can’t we be like a child in our communication? I think it would be of a great benefit to be able to mimic them, also, able to share our feelings without judgements. The foundation is truth, what a concept, all the time. This is Jennifer, and her babes.

The Beloved Session – Brad & Vera

This afternoon I received an invitation to step back in time. The moment was still, never knew that time could stop in a room full of people. Brad took one look at Vera and the word “delight” follows her in; remarkably. For the two of them, laughters, passionate flames the same as that moment years ago, again today, and from my witness, lots more ahead of them. Brad & Vera, Thank You for my invitation today. I have carefully placed this memory bank into a safe place call the beloved; blessings to you.

VICTOR MARX

This morning was a grift, I got to hear one of my old friend from Hawaii, all time favorite national martial art champions, motivator, Christ follower Victor Marx from All Things Possible (ATP) Ministry. WOW! this man can speak. His testimony (below) is incredible. Through Christ redemption, and mercy, we are bless with such freedom that is beyond us. I am SO thankful for today, so thankful for my freedom, and yet reminded that this freedom is not free, much shed blood and sacrifice that went before us; thus, given me this freedom to even write this post. In best regards, I am free underneath this “broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight” my heart full of gratitude and, thankfully always.

Victor Marx is founder and President of “All Things Possible,” a national faith-based organization. He has been working with troubled youth for two decades. His presentations as a speaker nationwide both inspire and motivate listeners. He provides a unique and effective approach for character development and behavior modification by helping youth excel to become Champions in Life.

Victor is a master of martial arts, a former U.S. Marine, and he has trained over 30 world and national martial art champions. Because of his own troubled youth, he has the heart to help kids of all ages succeed in life by overcoming the negative influences that would seek to destroy them.

He attended 14 schools and lived in 17 houses by the time he graduated from high school. The U.S. Marines gave some structure to his crazy life, and martial arts became a means to vent his anger. It wasn’t until his dad became a Christian that Victor had a life-changing experience with both his father and his Heavenly Father. Victor’s story is the saga of a life damaged beyond human hope, and the power of a mighty God to fully deliver and restore him through the forgiveness and love of Jesus Christ.

Today Victor Marx uses his charisma and his seventh degree black belt to lead (not chase!) people out of eternal danger and into the loving arms of God. He has appeared on the Christian Broadcasting Network’s 700 Club, the Sky Angel television network, and Focus on the Family’s Weekend broadcast. He established several successful karate studios, and served as public affairs representative for Dr. James Dobson at Focus on the Family. He has a passion for sharing the Gospel while performing martial arts.

His greatest joy is seeing troubled youth find new life in Jesus.

He was a weapons instructor and an expert competitive shooter in the United States Marine Corps. He was twice awarded Black Belt Instructor of the Year and has appeared in many demonstrations for television and news articles..

Victor has trained law enforcement officers and special military personnel from the Army’s Delta Force, Marine’s Recon Rangers to Navy Seals as well as CIA. He taught martial arts to Brian Wilson of the “The Beach Boys,” and Victor’s students have been cast in movie roles. He has also worked with players from the N.F.L.

Victor’s greatest desire and achievements are that of being a husband and father.

While Victor is a “Cajun” from southern Louisiana, his lovely bride of twenty years, Eileen, is a California native and a former Miss Fitness U.S.A. Eileen has earned the rank of 2nd degree black belt.. She was co-founder of “Fitness Kickboxing” which became one of the country’s hottest conditioning work-outs. They have five children ages ranging from 20 to 4 years old, and they reside in southern California.

Arise to freedom, the stars and stripes flowing behind Phil Wickham freely as he sing freedom reign with one of my all time musical hero, Jyro Xhan from the most awesomest band ever; Mortal (and yes, awesomest is a word, surely the bestest!). Something about being outdoor with crowd of thousands (or, hundreds) belting out “You’re beautiful” and God Bless America, makes you want to dig out your history books and restudy America; She is still beautiful, and she is still, the land of the free.

Janette & Peter San Pedro Wedding

Living a life worth honoring, one needs to know the path of honor and uphold it’s integrity. I had the honor of shooting Janette & Peter on Saturday July 3rd at the South Coast Botanic Garden in Palos Verdes, and celebrated their reception by the seaside Doubletree Hotel in San Pedro. Their wedding wasn’t just about two lives that were meant to be, or just about soulmate gathering. They truly honored their culture through music, dance, celebration, and remembering. I was truly touch and moved as I gaze at their video slideshow remembering Peter’s late father, as it connect me to my father. Watching Janette dance with her dad brings to mind that one day, I will dance with my little girl at her wedding; moves me to tears. All in all, honor, love, trust, hope and culture, can connect souls that have never met, but can match all of us; into oneness.
